There’s something about the start of a new year that brings fresh energy—and for us at Eco Outdoor Solutions, we’ve hit the ground running.
We’ve kicked things off with a standout project in Croydon, and it’s exactly the kind of work we love—considered, detailed, and built to feel like it truly belongs with the home.
Croydon Project: Strength Meets Natural Beauty
This project centres around a Coldstream rock retaining wall, paired with grand timber sleeper steps to create both structure and flow through the space.
The rock wall is doing more than just holding ground—it’s setting the tone. Natural, solid, and timeless. Each piece has been carefully placed to create a finish that feels organic, not forced—like it’s always been there.
It’s one of those builds where the craftsmanship really matters. Getting the balance right between engineered stability and a natural aesthetic is something we take a lot of pride in, and this one is coming together beautifully.
We’re looking forward to revealing the finished product very soon.

Ferntree Gully: Clean Lines & Lasting Impact
Not far away in Ferntree Gully, we’ve recently completed a clean exposed aggregate concrete area, and it’s a perfect contrast to the Croydon job.
Where Croydon leans into natural textures, this project is all about refined finishes and usability.
The exposed aggregate brings:
-
A durable, long-lasting surface
-
Great visual texture without being over the top
-
A finish that ties seamlessly into the home
It’s a reminder that great landscaping isn’t about one style—it’s about choosing the right materials and finishes to suit the space and the way people live.
What’s Next: Another Ferntree Gully Transformation
We’re excited to be starting another project in Ferntree Gully shortly, and this one has all the signs of something special.
Without giving too much away, this job will bring together:
-
Thoughtful layout planning
-
Strong material contrasts
It’s exactly the kind of project where early design decisions make all the difference—and we’re looking forward to bringing it to life.
Looking Ahead: Big Collaborations & Signature Designs
As the year unfolds, we’ve got some exciting projects already in the pipeline.
One we’re particularly looking forward to is another “Peachy Green” inspired design—a style that continues to resonate with clients who want something soft, welcoming, and connected to nature. Expect layered planting, natural tones, and spaces that feel calm but considered.
We’re also gearing up for a collaboration with Tanzanite Pools, which is always something we enjoy being part of. Pool landscapes are where everything comes together—structure, finish, planting, and lifestyle—and working alongside quality builders makes a huge difference in the final result.
A Strong Year Ahead
If the first few months are anything to go by, it’s shaping up to be a big year.
More builds, more collaborations, and more opportunities to create outdoor spaces that feel like a true extension of the home.
We’re excited for what’s ahead—and as always, grateful to be working with great clients who trust us to bring their ideas to life.
